DASH SNOW CFA

On show are the film Familae Erase and a selection of original Polaroids.   

Polaroids marked the artistic beginning of Dash Snow. Rumor has it that he used the Polaroids to document experiences he might not otherwise remember due to intoxication. Actually he began taking polaroids around 9-11. Images of Snow and his friends writing graffiti, flashing guns, making out and making art all give a picture of the wiliness and abandon that would fuel him and his crew after the attacks.  The images are often repulsive at first sight but there is no superficialness. Dash never went easy on himself, a fact that he eventually paid with his life.
