#107 ROUNDUP: SKATEBOARD – SKATE PHOTOGRAPHY!
This time on our Skateboard Roundup: Skate Photography, Keep on pushin’!
Atiba Jefferson is a professional photographer from Colorado Springs, CO. He discovered photography in high school and quickly developed a passion for the camera. Since skateboarding was his first love it naturally became his primary subject and the focus through the lens. His desire to capture the movement of skateboarding, precisely how he saw it, pushed him to move to California and chase his dream of becoming a professional photographer. Atiba now shoots everything from skateboarding to Lakers games to portraits of world-famous musicians and athletes. This short film gives a glimpse into the crazy life of Atiba and how he became a professional photographer. (source)

The second Skate Photography portrait shows John John Florence.
French photographer & Desillusion Magazine editor in chief Sebastien Zanella, met John John Florence in his hometown, right in front of the most renowned waves, Pipeline, to discuss his interests out of the water. “The Other John John”, is a short film focusing on the other side of John John, his passion for photography & the simple pleasures in life. A cinematographic highlight is “form” by Colin Kennedy.
‘form’ is a short film I created for the REDirect contest as a tribute to the style and grace of skateboarding.

And Ricki Bedenbaughs shows some brilliant editing in his short “Keep on Pushin’“.
Keep on Pushin’ represents what skateboarding means to me, it is my way of thanking skateboarding for all that it has given me. (source)
