This time in our Skateboarding Roundup: #142 Roundup: Skate Madagascar, Russian Youth & Cam Porn?!

A well known softdrink producer sent Patrick Wallner to Madagascar along with the skatteam around Skatern Barney Page, Denny Pham, Nestor Judkins, Wilko Grüning, Brian Dolle, Gosha Konyshev. In the best Visual Travelling antics, out came a stunning piece.

I was honored with a quite sweet award from the European skateboard community, the ‘best film-maker of 2014’. Along with a trophy, Red Bull pretty much told me I can choose any place on earth and film a short piece. I scrambled through a world atlas and thought that Madagascar would be the ideal place to celebrate this award as well as explore the streets of this exotic island along the Indian Ocean with some good friends. (source)

Eventually here’s some camera pron with a fabulous look and slowmotion goodness in 150 frames per second.

Went out with my FS7 and a friend to film some 150fps shots while he was skating. The mini ramp we found had seen better days but still we tried to film a little. The sunset was pretty cool so so we had really good lighting throughout the evening. (source)
