#84 ROUNDUP: MOUNTAINBIKE – 10 Things Every Mountain Biker Should Have Done!

This time in our Mountainbike Roundup: 10 Things Every Mountain Biker Should Have Done and 5 other kickass clips!

The colleagues from “Filme von Draußen” have already been featured a couple of time sin our Mountainbike Roundups (#54, #34, #24).  Why you may ask? Quite simply because they can explain pretty well what mountainbiking is all about. This time they share 10 things every Mountain Biker should have done during his/her lifetime!

This is a short compilation of experiences I made on my mountain bike during the past three years that I found worth sharing. And if you know fellow riders that are in need of a boost of motivation, please share this video with them!

10 Things Every Mountain Biker Should Have Done

In the beginning the edit of the freerider Harry Steele looks a bit bland in its grey fog. But when you watch it until the end it gets all colourful again – hooray!

Between the Trees” by Savage Films is a pretty cool edit of a very very very rocky, rooty and fast trail that has not been maintained for several years as it looks. So perfect all in all!

Enduro // Bretagne” by tmpfilms got us all excited about the fact that there are battleships in it. Unfortunately they pass by them to explore the stellar coastlines of north western France.

9 out of 10 Mountainbike videos have a terribly bad soundtrack. This is why we felt urged to share “Flow – The Elements of Freeride” as it only comes with atmospheric sounds of the nature itself. There also is a an edit with music that can be found here – but we prefer the foley one for sure!

Follow Geophysicist Rex Flake on a high-adrenaline mountain bike ride through the Cascade Mountains as he identifies the flora, fauna, and geology of this cinematic region and explains how all these individual elements come together to create the experience of ‘Flow’. Uniquely edited without the typical hard core soundtrack, Flow uses creative graphics and sound design to bring the viewer uncomfortably close to the action.  (source)
