MISSION: To play the best live shows!

We don’t care as long as you sing! For many years we are proud to call the BEATSTEAKS our friends and we like that!

The German band Beatsteaks from Berlin was founded in 1995 (at that time with a slightly different formation) and can now look back on more than 20 years of band history. The first album “48/49” was released in 1997, at that time very punky and with hardcore content. Many small concerts followed, the first big success was the performance in the supporting program of the “Sex Pistols”. The breakthrough quickly followed, the “Beatbuletten” got signed by Warner Music. The next albums and several concerts followed. The music of the Beatsteaks is increasingly turning into alternative punk rock. The mostly English-language texts attract thousands. Seven studio albums clearly show what the band has to offer, the styles of the songs cover many genres and the Berliners just do what they want to do. Meanwhile the Beatsteaks are one of the most successful punk rock bands in Germany. With their great live shows they rock the big stages, concerts are almost always sold out.

On the 1st September 2017 the Beatsteaks released their new album YOURS after 3 years of waiting time! The already 8th studio album of the punk rockers contains 21 songs. Among them there are features with great artists like Deichkind or Farin Urlaub. But also the collaborations with Jamie T, Stereo Total and Chad Prince are great. But there was not only a lot of support from artists, several producers also had their fingers in the pie. The many influences on the record definitely can be heard in a positive way.

The Beatsteaks are also engaged in political and social activities. For example they support the project “iChance”, which is committed to helping illiterate to learn how to read and write. The project “Junge Helden” encourages organ donation, “Viva con Agua” is committed to improving the access to drinking water in developing countries. Both projects are also supported by the band from Berlin. The new album YOURS is also available as “Du bist Deluxe”-version. For each sold box Amnesty International receives 15€.
