Berlin Photo Week
Berlin Photo Week | 10-13 October 2019
The Berlin Photo Week takes place this year from 10-13 October 2019 in the capital. As the name suggests, photography is the central focus of the event. Many events around the love of photography, art and technology will take place throughout the city. These include exhibitions, talks with branch leaders, portfolio reviews, photo walks, master classes and the award ceremony for the EyeEm Awards, the world’s largest photography competition.

Off Site Events
In addition to the main events in the Kraftwerk, there are also plenty of other locations which, for example, participate in the Berlin Photo Week programme with exhibitions..
We are also part of this year’s Photo Week, as our IRIEDAILY Brand Store Berlin becomes an exhibition venue. The Berlin photographer Daniel Reiter will be our guest with his exhibition “Ethiopia skates”. Daniel has visited Ethiopia several times in recent years to capture the local skate scene. We have been supporting him for a long time and are now all the happier to finally be able to exhibit his work in our store. Previously he had been a guest in several locations in London, Vienna and Berlin.
Another recommendation we would like to make for the photo exhibition„No Photos on the Dance Floor! Berlin 1989—Today“ at C/O Berlin, in which the Berlin photographerLisa Wassmann is also involved. The show deals with the cultural revival after ’89 and offers with photographs, videos, films and documentary material an insight into the Berlin club scene and its development in the last 30 years.
But also all other site events are absolute highlights. You can find a list of the whole programme here.
