ITEMS OF THE WEEK #111: Restep Jacket

We could write “Winter is coming” but since the first season of GoT was 10 years ago, we’ll just leave it at that. Either way – it’s getting cold! That’s why you need a warming winter jacket, especially in the morning and evening. Still trendy are puffer jackets, so our new Item of the Week is the Restep Jacket.

The Restep Jacket is a quilted winter jacket made from recycled polyester. In addition, the jacket is wind- and water-repellent with a water column* of 5000 mm/br, but still remains breathable. The adjustable hood protects you from rain and snow, and the ribbed cuffs and hem ensure the perfect fit.

Plenty of room for all your essentials such as keys, wallet, headphones, mask and Co. are in the numerous pockets of the jacket: front pockets with hidden press buttons, large chest pocket with side zipper and inside pocket with side zipper.
By the way, the Restep Jacket is not only made from sustainable materials, but is also vegan and produced under the flag of the Fair Wear Foundation. Now you just have to decide on a design: one color or a two/three color block design?

*What is the water column?

The water column provides information about the water permeability of a fabric or membrane, meaning how much pressure a fabric can withstand without moisture penetrating. To determine this value, the material is exposed to water. The water column increases by millimeters until the first drops penetrate the material. 1,000 millimeters of water column correspond approximately to the pressure of 0.1 bar. The higher the water column, the more waterproof the material.
