IRIEMEMBER Lara Lessmann: Winner of the World Cup Final in Chengdu

Victory in BMX-Freestyle World Cup Final in Chendgu

It was not that long ago that IRIEMEMBER Lara Lessmann won the gold medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. And now there is great news again: She won the final of the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup in Chendgu (China) and finished second in the whole competition. Congratulations, we are proud!!! 🙂

Lara’s toughest competitor in the contest was the American Hannah Roberts. In the qualification Lessmann was with 71 points still relatively clearly behind Roberts, who reached 82 points. In the semi-final, Lessmann “only” finished in 5th place with 83.80 points, while Roberts again showed the best performance with 89.80 points. In the final, however, Lessmann once again gave everything and turned the tables – victory with 83.80 points! Roberts just missed the win with 81.20 points.

Unfortunately, Lara Lessmann missed out on the overall victory of the competition and had to admit defeat to her American rival Hannah Roberts with 2nd place. Anyway, Lara is very close behind her and has shown that she is definitely to be feared! So you can be curious about the battle between Lessmann and Roberts in the future 😉
