“Milano connection” – IRIEDAILY Skate Team in Italy
IRIEDAILY skate team in Italy
When the weather becomes uncomfortable in autumn and the sun is rarely shining, skateboarding is a bit of an inconvenience. An invitation from our team member Guido Zanotto from Milano has come just in time to go south with the boards. And so a small group of our skateboard team travelled to the Italian metropolis with Patrick Rogalski aka Rogge, Phillip Öhmige aka Öhmi, Roland Hirsch aka Hirschi and team manager Sam together with filmer Dan Schulz to enjoy the Italian Dolce Vita. Our local team rider Guido Zanotto welcomed the team warmly and showed them not only the best spots of the city, but also the beautiful corners in and around Milan. So the skaters were blessed by the sun and had great sessions with the very friendly and open locals who welcomed them at every spot. Here is a small travelogue in pictures, as well as the excellent clip by Filmer Dan Schulz.

Milan ranks in the upper half of Europe in terms of the cost of living index and so you sometimes have to go to the bank. Hirschi uses the free time and nosebluntslided in Milan’s banking district.
