For over 20 years, we have had part of our collections produced in Portugal. We have been working with the supplier EUROSÁS CONFECÇÕES since 2000 – however, after a merger with another supplier, it has been operating under a new company name since 2011. At the production site in Góios Barcelos, mainly our T-shirts and sweatshirts are produced, with Eurosás taking care of the steps “Cut, Sew & Finish”. The IRIEDAILY styles represent about 50% of the production volume of Eurosás. The subcontractors LOPAMA CONFECÇÕES, ESTAMPARIA RODRIGUES & ABREU, PEREIRA & FILHOS and NEIVACOR take care of some steps in sewing, printing & embroidery.

  • • Long & direct business relation
  • • High leverage
  •  Transparent wages
  • • Good communication
  • • Organic & recycled yarns

As a result of our transparency approach and corporate philosophy, as well as as part of our Fair Wear Foundation membership, our CSR team conducts regular factory visits to monitor working conditions on site and respond to workers’ issues. These visits were accompanied by camera in summer 2021, which means we can now provide transparent insights into our production in Portugal.

During our visit to Eurosás Confecções Lda, we talked to Mrs. Candida and Mr. Ferreira about the good cooperation and what advantages Portugal has as a production location.
In Portugal the textile industry is well established, all materials and skills for the production of T-shirts and sweatshirts are available. Dyeing factories, printers and embroideries are state of the art. But most importantly, the “Portuguese are all very honest,” as Mrs. Candida aptly puts it.
Eurosás Confecções Lda is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified.

In addition, you will get an insight into the production of the subcontractors Lopama Confecções, Estamparia Rodrigues & Abreu, Pereira & Filhos and Neivacor, who work for Eurosás in the sewing, printing and embroidery processes.
