Since the foundation of the IRIEDAILY brand, we have been producing in Portugal. The first ten years our complete collections were exclusively produced there, today almost half of our production volume is made in Portugal. Our long-standing relationships with our suppliers are an important cornerstone of our success. Since 2013, we have been working with the Portuguese supplier MAP TEXTPORTS, which primarily produces troyers and sweatshirts for us and is responsible for the work steps “Cut & Finish”. MAP’s production site is located in Lijó Barcelos. The sewing process is outsourced to the subcontractor GENUINE.

  • • Long & direct business relation
  • • Good communication
  • • High leverage
  • • Organic yarns
  • • Recycled yarns

In the summer of 2021, our CSR team headed to Portugal to check the working conditions at our production sites. We accompanied these factory visits with a camera, enabling us to provide exclusive and transparent insights into our Portuguese production.

As with our other partners, we particularly appreciate the warm and familiar atmosphere between the workers and owners at the supplier MAP. In the video you can also see the subcontractor Genuine, which takes over the process of sewing in the production chain. Have fun!
