GO SKATEBOARDING DAY 2025
Board out, vibes on - Go Skateboarding Day is just around the corner! On June 21 - the longest day of the year - skateparks, squares and community events around the world will be skating for all they're worth. Beginners, pros and everyone in between come together to ride contests, deliver tricks at Stuff 4, attend workshops and simply hang out together. The day was created in 2004 by the International Skateboarding Association (IASC) to make the sport more accessible to everyone - especially those just starting out. Check out your local spots and stores - there's something safe going on somewhere near you! We've also put together a few tips for you here.
BERLIN
TOGETHER - GSD 2025
@VOGELFREIHEIT SKATEPARK & MINIRAMP TEMPELHOFER FELD
Go Skateboarding Day - the perfect opportunity to meet old homies, get to know new people and have fun together on the board. In Berlin, the session takes place from 2-6 pm at Vogelfreiheit Skatepark and at the miniramp on Tempelhofer Feld. The whole thing is supported by a strong Berlin alliance of stores, brands and crews, including Skatehalle Berlin - without commerce, but with a lot of heart for the community. If you're in the mood for vibes, exchange and lots of skating, you should definitely stop by!
AURICH

The Skatehalle Aurich is also celebrating Go Skateboarding Day! And with free admission for all skateboarders. However, the skate hall is currently undergoing renovation work and only the back area is open. But that shouldn't stop you from spending GSD there!
HAMBURG
GO SKATEBOARDING DAY
@ROLLER SKATING RINK PLANTEN UN BLOMEN
Hamburg is once again celebrating Go Skateboarding Day at the roller rink in Planten un Blomen - with games, stuff for tricks, video premieres and lots of skate vibes. It starts at 3 pm with skate games, later there will be two great videos to watch in the stands - a brand new skate video from Argentina followed by a Hamburg classic "Kids from the Cans". The session is free, open to all and powered by the local skate scene - just drop by and be part of it!
WHEELCHAIR SKATE MEETING FOR THE GSD

For Go Skateboarding Day, there's this nice event in Hamburg-Eidelstedt on June 21: from 10 am to 1 pm, there will be a wheelchair skate meet-up at the new skate park on Steinwiesenweg. Whether you want to skate yourself, make your first attempts or simply support - all wheelchair users are welcome! The spot is great, and thanks to SV Eidelstedt there is also access to a barrier-free toilet in the health center next door. Just drop by, roll along and have fun!
MUNICH
GO SKATEBOARDING DAY

On June 21, Munich will be rolling together - at Go Skateboarding Day, a street spot tour across the city, a fat € 2,500 Cash4Tricks and lots of stuff awaits you. Including: Death Race, fat vibes and surprise stations (info to follow). Meeting point is at 13:00 at Sendlinger Tor - just grab your board and start rolling!
LEIPZIG
GO SKATEBOARDING DAY
@WILHELM-LEUSCHNER-PLATZ
On June 21, a big skate session across the city starts at 1 pm at Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz in Leipzig - with Stuff & Drinks for Tricks, Streetspots, Highest Wallride, live music, BBQ and cold drinks. Everyone is welcome, whether beginner or pro! From 10 p.m. it continues at the Giezer D.I.Y. with three video premieres: Let's Play (Bambule), Baller man (Sk8 Chikkaz) and Mentality (Dismissing Boys Club). Sounds like a day full of skate, sound & good people - don't miss it!
