On May 16, Holzmarkt 25 will be transformed into a queer night market with everything that's fun: live music, street food, creative pop-ups and workshops full of vibes. Behind the event is That Gay Creation - known for colorful community love and real queer joy. a100 WEGBASSEN

On Saturday, 17 May, the area around Elsenstraße, Puschkinallee and Treptower Park will be transformed into a colorful protest festival against the continued construction of the A100. From 2 to 10 p.m., a broad alliance from civil society, culture, neighborhoods and climate activism will demonstrate loudly and creatively for a climate-friendly city without a freeway. The day offers music, speeches, FLINTAQ* Open Air, information stands, panel discussions, activities for children and plenty of space to meet, dance and network. The message is clear: roads belong to people - not to concrete.

I AM THE DRUG - Sober Curiosity Night

On May 16, the VOID Club Berlin will host a special kind of club night: I AM THE DRUG - Sober Curiosity Night brings the finest sound to three floors, completely without alcohol or other substances. The Photoszene Festival will take place in Kökn from 16.05. to 15.06.2025. The curatorial heart of the International Photoszene Cologne is the program Artist Meets Archivein which five international artists work with Cologne archives and present their research in exhibitions at the Museum Ludwig, Stadtmuseum and am Dom, among others. The festival is complemented by a group exhibition on the theme of Feelings & Photography as well as 99 other exhibitions that show the diversity of photography in Cologne. Talks, guided tours, workshops and the symposium Another State of Mind round off the program. As always, the photo scene stands for openness, exchange and participation.

Savvy - Take care of yourself tour

At the IDAHOBIT on Saturday, May 17, Munich's queer community will send a clear signal against homo-, bi-, inter- and trans-hostility. The event starts at 3 pm at Sendlinger-Tor-Platz. In times of increasing queer hostility - also in Munich - a broad alliance of LGBTIQ* organizations is calling for a rally and demonstration through the city centre. The route leads from Sendlinger Tor to Papa-Schmid-Straße, accompanied by powerful speeches, visible protest and the samba drum group Münchner Ruhestörung.

Pop-Up Design Market

At the pop-up design market in the Graf Rumford Bar, Munich artists present their work - from handmade jewelry to illustrative posters, postcards and photography to abstract art. Visitors can discover special pieces, talk directly to the artists and enjoy the relaxed bar atmosphere. ARTE Art Fair

The ARTe art fair Stuttgart will take place from May 16 to 18, 2025 in the Phoenixhalle in the Römerkastell. Around 70 galleries and artists will present contemporary art on 1,500 m² - from painting and photography to sculpture and graphic art. The fair offers free guided tours, a packing service, ticket payment on site and around 400 free parking spaces. Highlight: On Friday, admission to the vernissage from 5-6 pm is free.
