Go Skateboarding Day is just around the corner again! On June 21, the longest day of the year, skaters around the world celebrate in their local skateparks with competitions, BBQs and community activities that promote creativity and cohesion. The holiday was launched in 2004 by the International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC) to make skateboarding more accessible to all and to encourage beginners in particular. Skate stores around the world organize events where young and old can experience the sport together. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, Go Skateboarding Day is the perfect opportunity to discover the local skate scene and have fun on the board together. Check out your local skate stores and places to find the best skate action!

On June 21, 2025, Berlin celebrates 30 years of Fête de la Musique - and it's bigger than ever! Over 200 music spots will bring the city to life, with free admission and extended stage times until midnight. This year, the program starts at 2 pm, with Pankow as a partner district and many highlights in and around Mauerpark. From club to curb, the city becomes a stage and everyone celebrates the summer, the longest night of the year and the music together. The festival summer is here and to get you in the mood, the MIT DIR collective is once again inviting you to the open air at gART.n - on Saturday from 2 to 10 pm. The party will take place in the middle of the green Gaswerksiedlung (Blockdammweg 1, accessible by streetcar 21, 13 minutes from Ostkreuz). Before the team sets off to set up for the big MIT DIR festival, there will be a chance to dance together in the open air. Photos and videos are expressly not permitted - it's the moment that counts here.

The FritzSessions are entering their 20th round - on the longest day of the year, open air and with free admission! The celebrations will take place in the Cassiopeia summer garden on the RAW grounds, with live acts from 4 pm, an official show from 7 pm and a second stage at Café KULT, which starts at 2 pm. The line-up includes Headjet, Reeza, Liska, zeck and Vicky - five acts that everyone should experience live: from explosive post-punk to emotional indie to feminist hyperpop escalation. The atmosphere promises to be wild - just like Berlin on a summer's day full of music. If you come early, you'll hear more - so just drop by, dive in and party!

Can't Stop x Studio Liebe no. 2

On June 21, the event series Can't Stop x Studio Love in the middle of Hamburg, in Haus 73, with living room vibes and a lot of love for the night. What makes it special: It should be accessible to everyone - with free entry from 7 to 10 pm on the terrace, then free access to the bar until 1 am and "pay what you can" in the club from 10 pm to 3 am. The DJs are A.B.U., Beccs, Bomchello, Bushfya and Peachnation - everything from smooth to sweaty. Two crews, two floors, one common goal: partying without barriers and with real community spirit. Fairness and respect are part of the deal - and that's exactly why the whole thing feels so good.

On 21 June 2025, the fourth edition of the Lesbian Street Festival will take place in Munich - a community highlight during Pride Month, organized by lesbians for the LGBTIQ* scene, friends and neighbors. The program includes information stands from Rosa Liste, Queerpass Bayern, Lesbensalon - Sappho goes 60 and many more, plus live music from Christian Deussen and beats from DJanes Doro, JaMi and Eléni. Delicious food, good vibes and a strong sense of togetherness make the festival a place for everyone with an open heart. What began in 2022 as a spontaneous campaign for greater visibility is now a permanent fixture on the Munich Pride calendar. If you want to celebrate diversity, come along!
FEMALE PHOTOCLUB KReative photo walk

In the workshop accompanying the Common Ground exhibition, neighbors are invited to capture their personal view of the neighborhood in photographs. Together with professional photographers from the Female Photoclub Munich, participants develop image ideas, learn the basics of photography - whether with a smartphone or a camera - and explore questions such as: What does "common ground" mean to me? Where do I see boundaries, diversity or cohesion in my everyday life? Simply bring your camera or cell phone and register by email - places are limited!
The workshop is part of the supporting program for the exhibition Common Ground, which can be seen on the grounds of Bahnwärter Thiel from 5 to 27 June 2025. In it, 20 female photographers from the Female Photoclub Munich raise controversial social issues with their work - on age, sexuality, migration, physical diversity and much more. The large-format photographs are installed in public spaces and show that Common ground is not created through equality, but by making differences visible.

On June 21 and 22, 2025, the Reithalle Dresden invites you to a design market with over 60 exhibitors - a weekend full of creativity, music and enjoyment. In addition to handmade products, visitors can look forward to workshops, walk-in tattoos, culinary highlights from pizza to vegan cakes and refreshing drinks. DJs and musicians from Dresden will provide the right sound, and on Saturday evening there will also be an after-party until 2am. The Reithalle offers weather-protected indoor and outdoor areas, making it the perfect place to discover and linger, whatever the weather. Admission: €5 regular, €4 reduced, children up to 12 years free.

On June 21, the Conne Island in Leipzig will be transformed into Trance Island - with fantastic DJs, summery B2Bs and lots of surprises. The open-air event starts at 4 pm, and the party continues indoors from midnight. Tickets for the whole night are available in advance from Tix for Gigs, and the reduced outdoor admission is also available on site. If you want to be there from midnight, you need a regular full-price ticket. Save the date - see you on the Trance Floor!
